Digital Camera Memory
I've never owned a Digital Camera before. I'm considering buying one and buying a Memory Card. However my computer is a 2000 edition so it doesn't have a Memory Card Slot. Would I be able to utilize my Memory Card without a slot in the computer? I'm hoping it stores extra memory on the card and can access through the camera and into the computer that way through USB. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Basically… You have two options to read your cards; 1. Buy an external USB card reader. You plug this into a USB port and use it to read the card.
2. Buy and internal card reader and install it into your PC if there are free slots in the front. Both options will read most cards. Be careful if you buy a Sony camera (cybershot range) because Sony use a unique card that some readers do not have the correct slot for. The card readers are very cheap £10-20 The other option is that the camera will have a USB socket to connect it to a PC. You could use this to transfer the images to your PC.

Digital Camera Specials
I have a digital camera and its been acting weird. I won't let you take pictures because it says on the bottom right corner that its on lock. I looked through the manual and I asked a bunch of people but they don't know how to get it off lock. Anyone know. After looking around, I learned — Well, I don't know what brand of camera you have. If you are absolutely sure it's not in the manual, how about you try Googling it. . Or go to the brand name website. If it doesn't say anything on their website or on Google, you can try calling a contact number (should be on the website) and just quickly ask them. They should be able to help you out.
