I have a two year old daughter and it would be nice to be able to have more freedom on weather and water photos. But I have heard that waterproof digital cameras can have poor image quality. Compare Underwater Digital Cameras
Are there any good ones? Recommendations? Prices? Reasonably priced for me is no more than $200. I just want a camera that will take good pics underwater and some videos. . Just for like the beach or something. Nothing fancy or too special. From what I can tell… It really depends upon what you consider reasonably priced. For those of us who dive with cameras and are used to using $1,600 underwater housings for our dSLR's, would consider a $400 P&S camera that can dive to 10 m as very reasonable indeed.
