I am looking for the total sales of Canon/Nikon digital cameras each year for the past 3 yrs. Thank you. Well, I have your answer right here. I think Canon and Nikon are both publicly traded companies. You should be able to drill through their financial results to find the numbers you're looking for. According to IDC the top 3 by US Sales are Kodak (2. 15 M cameras), Canon ( 2M) and Sony (1. 78M). The rest are about 10% behind. Canon could move to #1 spot this year. Global numbers are: Canon – 12. 63 M cameras Sony – 12. 32 M Kodak – 8. 71 M Canon should continue to dominate as the new growth is spurred by SLR's at the expense of Sony's covetted Pro-sumer market. Nikon doesn't seem to be a player anymore.

I have a 10. 2 megapixel Pink Samsung S1070 & my friend also has a Samsung digital camera (not sure of the name but its 8. 2 megapixel I think) I love my S1070, it takes high quality pictures the only problem is that they are dull. I did not even notice this until I saw my friends Samsung digital camera and noticed her pictures are brighter & more of an orangey colour. I've had a mess around with the settings but they all seem to be the same as mine & no change. Any help with this please?? I want brighter pictures. ( Thanks. I dont want to know if you think the camera is rubbish, I love my camera just confused why my pictures are dull. Basically… The S1070 does not take anything near high quality pictures. . Actually what I would describe as crap actually. Try changing the colour settings but then maybe this camera isn't good enough to have different ones. You can always change the saturation and vibrance in post processing, I prefer to use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.

I'm looking to buy a waterproof digital camera. I was wondering what brand has a good digital camera. I prefer one that also has a video mode. I don't have a budget so any price is okay. From what I can tell… Canon D10 would be the best waterproof camera now. It take good picture quality for both in and out pond
