((I'm 16 and interested in Photography))Have you seen those really cool Pictures of people swimming? I was wondering what types of cameras do the photographers use? Is there some kind of cover that they just put on their regular Camera or do you by a 'Waterproof/ Underwater Camera' ?Also what would be the best and what is the price range? Any additional details would be Appreciated . Thankyouuu. Basically… There are a few possibilities. The real pros use wateproof casings for their DSLRs. Nikon used to have a range called Nikonos, which were waterproof without a separate casing. Now, most manufacturers have a couple of point and shoot cameras in their range which are waterproof. I have an Olympus, but there are others out there.

I want a decent fit, but not too tight. This one has about 1/2 inch of room on each side of camera, but it appears to be held snug enough. I've read about people worrying about their screen getting scratched by sliding around, but it is super soft inside. I looked at both Canon and Sony cases, but they fit worse than what I have now. Let me know what you think. Thanks. I think I found an answer. The best camera case is one that almost touches the camera on all sides. I think that you have too much room. So, are you sure that the camera doesn't roll around. If it doesn't you should be fine. If it does try to get one with less space. About the scratching usually the more room their is in the camera case the more it scratch. This is even true of extremely soft cases. The casing can rub on the camera and produce scratches.

I have a new Canon Rebel EOS Xsi digital SLR camera. My friends and I all surf and I really wanted to get a waterproof casing for my SLR so I can take photography out in the water. I was wonder if anyone has any suggestions as to which brand is best? I know the hard cases are like $800+ and thats wayyy over my price range. I saw the plastic bag-like cases. Does anyone know if these are reliable? Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated . Today I found out that… I dont think the plastic case are much reliable.
