Underwater Cameras For Sale

((I'm 16 and interested in Photography))Have you seen those really cool Pictures of people swimming? I was wondering what types of cameras do the photographers use? Is there some kind of cover that they just put on their regular Camera or do you by a 'Waterproof/ Underwater Camera' ?Also what would be the best and what is the price range? Any additional details would be Appreciated . Thankyouuu. Basically… There are a few possibilities. The real pros use wateproof casings for their DSLRs. Nikon used to have a range called Nikonos, which were waterproof without a separate casing. Now, most manufacturers have a couple of point and shoot cameras in their range which are waterproof. I have an Olympus, but there are others out there.

5mp Digital Camera

My mom wants one for Christmas but she's not very savvy with electronics and she won't use the features on an expensive camera. She just wants a basic one. I found a good deal on a simple 5MP camera but don't know how the resolution would be. I don't want to get her junk either. Thoughts. I was so glad to find this — There is no way to know. You have not told us what camera and what model There are a lot of junk cameras out there that pretend to be feature packed and are nothing but toys. They have "focus free" lenses, only "digital" zoom, interpolated pixel counts and even include things like MP3 players . . IF the camera is listed here, then you are pretty safe. If not avoid it. Look for one with 3x optical zoom (forget any claim of digital zoom) and make sure it uses SD or SDHC memory cards and at least a 6 mp sensor Look for cameras like Nikon, Canon, Casio, Panasonic, Pentax and a few others. There are may cameras out there with license to use old names form the film camera days, but have nothing to do with the fine cameras made twenty or so years ago. Here is a list of cameras to avoid. China Vision Cobra Premier Vivitar Polaroid Megxon Yakumo Praktica SVP Olympic (Olympus is a real company) Bell and Howell Vista Quest Argus Vision Tech VuPoint Solutions General Electric These are just a few of the "throw away" digitals being sold at this time.
